Inconvenient Truth
In our Christian message, sometimes we tend to not want to talk about the inconvenient truths that are contained in Scripture – or we tend to ignore them. Why? Because they will require us to change how we behave and think. It will cause us an inconvenience. And yet, we’re called to teach, learn, and apply every piece of truth from God.
Plow the Field
Plowing a field is a really slow process to do right. You drive the tractor quite slowly, ensuring the plow digs in nice and deep into the dirt. Go too fast (trying to take a shortcut) and the blades just skip over the surface. In other words, it takes time to get things just right for a healthy crop to grow. It’s the same when it comes to our spiritual life.
