Revisionist History

In a world of revisionist history, we are called to remember the truth. Satan seeks to rewrite our spiritual history, causing us to forget God’s power and love. Let’s not fall for these revisions. Instead, reflect on God’s faithfulness and truth, and remember the miracles and joy He has brought into our lives.

Feats of Strength

American obsession with fitness contrasts with high obesity rates. From 80s workout shows to American Ninja Warrior, strength takes new forms. Amid physical pursuits, do we forget to admire God’s strength? His power saves us from darkness and guarantees eternal life. Praise Him for using His strength to love and save us.

Don’t Believe the Fear Tactics

In a world of fear and phobias, the Bible reassures us to have no fear, for God is with us, ready to strengthen and help us. While society capitalizes on fear, the real enemy uses it to fuel doubt and separation from God. Embrace the assurance of salvation and reject fear, for God conquers all.

Humble Confidence

In life, there’s a thin line between confidence and arrogance. The humble are favored by the Lord, while the proud are shunned. Arrogance is prideful confidence, self-centered and self-serving. King David, familiar with both humility and pride, emphasizes the need to embrace humility and acknowledge our dependency on God, urging us to choose Him out of genuine need, not pride.

They’re All Sloths!

When we pray, God’s response may not always be immediate, but the Psalmist reminds us that His encouragement and strength are always with us. Just like in the movie Zootopia where patience was required at the DMV, our prayers require trust and patience for God to provide the perfect answer in His own time.

Come With Me If You Want to Live

In the battle for eternal salvation, mere acknowledgement won’t cut it. The Apostle Paul’s words resonate: belief must be sealed with the Holy Spirit to secure the promised inheritance. Don’t risk eternal demise by ignoring the Spirit’s call. Embrace it now, or face the consequences.
